With a heavy heart, we will have to cancel tomorrow’s Ugadi celebration at Fuquay Varina Middle School, due to limitations with the procession/ceremonial expectations of the event at the venue. While we will not be able to conduct a communal celebration in the start of “Krodi Naama” year, we are working diligently on organizing and rescheduling this event for a more flexible and vibrant celebration!

Program Details

Starting at 10:00 AM, the day will open with the enchanting recitation of the Ganesha Atharvashirsha.

At 11:00 AM, devotees will have the opportunity to witness and partake in the Srivari (Balaji) kalyana utsavam, a sacred celebration.

From 12:30 to 2:00 PM, everyone is invited to join in Thadiyaradhana, a special form of seva through Annadanam, the act of offering food to all.

In the evening, at 5:00 PM, there will be the Baba Dhoop Arthi, a ritual of offering incense to Baba to seek his blessings.

Following this, at 6:00 PM, the Shiva Ganpathi Rudhra Abhishekam will take place, a traditional ceremony of worship.

Concluding the day's activities at 6:30 PM, participants will receive Thritha Prasadam, a blessed offering to be enjoyed together.

Throughout these events, may each find peace, joy, and spiritual fulfillment in the shared moments of devotion and community.

Volunteers needed

For the upcoming event at Fuquay Varina Middle School, we require volunteers for various tasks. Whether it's food preparation, serving during annadanam, or assisting with other activities during the event, every helping hand is valuable.

we welcome participation from students in 8th grade and above. Engaging in volunteer activities not only offers a fulfilling experience but also provides an opportunity for personal growth and learning. Students involved in volunteering will be acknowledged for their valuable contributions with volunteer certificates. We encourage young minds to join us in serving the community and exploring the joy of giving back.

The event will take place on April 13, Saturday, starting at 10:00 am and concluding at 7:00 pm.
